Chapel Allerton Village ForumThe Chapel Allerton Village Forum is a body set up by the North EastArea Management Team (formerly the Community Involvement Team), with the aim of giving residents the chance to meet councilllors, council officers and other key service providers (e.g. police, community organisations etc) to ask questions, raise issues of concern and hear about the latest work being done in the area. There are three such forums in the Chapel Allerton Ward - Chapel Allerton Village, Chapeltown Community Forum and the Meanwood / 6 Estates forum. These will each meet every three months or so. There is a different 'topic' at each meeting - the inauguaral one, in March, featured officers from the entertainments licensing and Parking sections, and June's meeting focussed on Planning Issues. Police Officers and Councillors will attend every meeting, and residents will have the chance to raise issues of concern under 'any other business', or suggest a theme for the next meeting.
